OTTAWA, ON and GATINEAU, QC, Jan. 15, 2025 /CNW/ – The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) will hold a technical briefing for media on January 16, 2025.

CRTC officials will hold a virtual technical briefing to discuss the CRTC’s ongoing work to improve the reliability and affordability of Internet services for residents of the Far North.

This media technical briefing is for background information only and not for attribution. Therefore, media representatives are asked not to rebroadcast this briefing in whole or in part. Journalists will have the opportunity to ask questions during the briefing.
